Jetting for Kawasaki KX works out the carburettor settings for the conditions of the day: main jet, needle, clip position, pilot jet and air screw. Tell it the bike and the weather, and it gives you the jetting. If you would rather not type the weather in, the app brings it from the nearest weather station. WHY THIS APP • The only one with models up to 2027: 9 models from 1994 to 2027, KX65, KX85 and KX112 included. • It jets for YOUR fuel: 98 E5, E10, E15, ethanol-free, leaded or oxygenated race fuel, or your own values. • Track mode: main jet, needle, clip, pilot jet and air screw huge and in high contrast, to read in full sun with your helmet on. • Widgets, Lock Screen, Live Activity and Apple Watch: the jetting of the moment without opening the app. • It warns you when the weather changes enough to change the main jet, and when there is a risk of carburettor icing. • Share the jetting with your mechanic with a link or a QR code, and keep your logbook in sync through iCloud. WHAT IT DOES • Full jetting: main jet with the exact calculated value below it, needle type, clip position, pilot jet and air screw turns from fully closed. • Weather from the nearest station in one tap: temperature, pressure and humidity, plus altitude from the GPS. • Logbook: save each ride, then note what you actually fitted and how it went, rated per circuit -low, mid and high-, because jetting can run rich down low and lean up top at the same time. Export to CSV, or share a copy to move it to another phone. The logbook and your settings sync between your devices through iCloud. • Fine tuning: shift the recommendation to suit your engine, between -10 and +10. Every engine has its own character, and wear, the exhaust or the filter change it. • Air density and density altitude, the intermediate result everything comes from and a quick way to compare one day with another. • Fuel: the jetting is corrected for the one you use, and the Engine tab tells you what it does to the main jet. Octane does not change the jetting; ethanol does. • Carburettor icing: a warning under the fine tuning when there is a risk, and the dew point in Conditions. TRACK MODE From Results, the sun button puts the jetting full screen, big, with the screen always on and at full brightness. It shows how much the air density has changed since what you have fitted, how old the data is, the conditions, your fuel and the icing warning. From there you start a track day and show your mechanic a QR code. ALERTS During a track day the app keeps an eye on the weather and tells you when it changes enough to change the main jet: "Air density has dropped 1.8 % since your last calculation: the main jet goes from 142 to 140." With the hourly forecast it can also tell you ahead of time. Forecast alerts always arrive; the others depend on iOS. UNITS • Temperature: °C and °F • Pressure: mb, hPa, mmHg and inHg • Altitude: m and ft • Air density: kg/m³, lb/ft³ and lb/gal (US) No ads, no tracking, no account. It works with no signal: enter the weather by hand and the calculation is the same. MODELS KX60 (1994-2004), KX65 (2000-2027), KX80 (1994-2001), KX85 (2001-2027), KX100 (1995-2021), KX112 (2022-2027), KX125 (1994-2008), KX250 (1994-2008), KX500 (1994-2004) The carburettor is not a choice: the year and model determine it, according to Kawasaki's manual for that year. Valid for carburetted engines only. The values are a starting reference. Air temperature and density change through the day, and so does the right jetting.
