Dive Leader Tools is a free toolkit for everyone who leads dives: instructors, divemasters and dive guides. The app helps you cover everything in your briefing, organize your group clearly and communicate underwater. BRIEFINGS - Ready-made briefings for dives, night dives, courses, facilities and debriefings - Create your own briefings, or duplicate and adapt existing ones - Speech recognition: the app listens during your briefing and checks off the items you cover. Uncertain matches appear as suggestions you can confirm or dismiss - Every item can also be checked off by hand - Mandatory items and final check: at the end you see right away what is still missing - Maximum depth and time are picked up from what you say and shown in large type - Large text, readable from 1–2 m (3–6 ft) away - Share briefings as files and import them BUDDYSLATE - Record divers and buddy teams for each dive, with certification and number of dives - Enter the allowed maximum depth before the dive, and the depth reached and dive time afterwards - Share or save as a PDF (A4) HAND SIGNALS - Signals for communication and for marine and freshwater life - Search, plus a full-screen view to show signals to your divers CLEANUP - Guidance for underwater cleanups: what to collect, what to leave, what to do with sensitive finds - Packing lists to check off YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Speech recognition runs on the device and no audio is stored. Data only leaves your device when you share something yourself. English and German, metric and imperial units. IMPORTANT Dive Leader Tools is a memory aid. It does not replace training or the standards of your diving organization. Automatic check marks are suggestions; you remain responsible for a complete briefing. The app is not affiliated with any diving organization.
