Ficha is a flashcard app for Rioplatense Spanish — the Spanish of Uruguay and Argentina. Not textbook Spanish, not Spain: vos instead of tú, ustedes instead of vosotros, and the words you will hear on a bus in Montevideo or at a kiosk in Buenos Aires. SPACED REPETITION THAT RESPECTS YOUR TIME Ficha schedules every card with FSRS, a modern spaced-repetition algorithm, so you see each word just before you would forget it. Set your own daily limits; they are an allowance, never a target. PRODUCE, DON'T JUST RECOGNISE New cards ask you to produce the Spanish from the English, because that is the direction you need in conversation.
