Watchkeeper App
Edward McCreary
The Watchkeeper App builds and runs your boat's watch bill — offline, private, and made for the way crews actually stand watch. Whether you're crossing an ocean or running a delivery, Watchkeeper turns your crew list into a fair, legal, easy-to-read rotation in minutes — then keeps it running through the whole passage. BUILD THE ROTATION YOUR WAY • Proven patterns — circadian (Swedish/Navy), traditional four-on/eight-off, and more — or build your own from scratch. • Two-, three-, four-crew and larger; individuals or teams. • Drag to reshape any watch; edit a single day or the whole cycle. STAND THE WATCH • See who's on now and who's next, in boat time. • Alarms before every watch — Time-Sensitive, so they break through Focus. • Heavy-weather mode shortens watches with one tap and eases back off when it passes. REST THAT HOLDS UP • Automatic STCW rest checks flag a rotation that won't give the crew legal rest. SHARE IT, PRINT IT • Send a shipmate the whole voyage by QR, AirDrop, message, or email — they scan and it's loaded. • Print a one-page watch bill for the bulkhead, with a scan-to-load code. ON THE WATER • Set the ship's clock to your longitude, mark a man-overboard reference and steer back to it, and keep a position log. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Watchkeeper has no account and no servers. Your schedules, vessel, and crew never leave your device — we can't see them. Sharing is peer-to-peer; we never see who you send to. For sailors, by sailors.
