Crimson Captain
Matt Blackwell
The Crimson Captain is Sooner recruiting intelligence: verified, sourced, and OU-centric. The app puts the site's command center in your pocket. THE RECRUITING COMMAND CENTER A daily brief built from verified reporting — the biggest changes since you last checked, trending targets, a big-board snapshot, visit dates on record, and position-by-position rooms. Every line links to its evidence, and unknowns stay unknown: report dates are always labeled 'reported', never dressed up as event dates. COMMIT WATCH The Captain's editorial read on which Oklahoma targets could commit and how soon — tiered, argued, and grounded in the evidence record. THE WIRE One timeline that answers 'what did I miss?': published intel, recruiting alerts, weekend visit reports, and moments when the community clubhouse lights up. INTERVIEWS & FILM Player interviews with a full audio player — background playback, lock-screen controls, 15-second skips — plus film grades on OU targets. BUILT FOR MEMBERS Subscribers get every story, alerts they can tune by topic, followed-recruit notifications, home-screen widgets, offline reading, and Spotlight search of the recruit database. New here? Join at crimsoncaptain.com. The Crimson Captain is independent Sooner coverage — every claim on the site traces to archived, verified reporting.
