EightNine: Pool Scorekeeper
TAMIR RAZ
A scoresheet that survives the match. EightNine keeps score for 8-ball, 9-ball and 10-ball on your phone. It opens straight into scoring — no account, no sign-up, no ads — and it keeps scoring when the Wi-Fi drops or there is no signal at all, which is the normal condition in most rooms rather than the edge case. IT DOES NOT LOSE YOUR MATCH Every tap is written down as it happens, so the app rebuilds your match rather than remembering it. Close the app mid-rack, run out of battery, let the phone restart — when you come back the score is exactly where you left it, right down to whose turn it is. UNDO THAT ACTUALLY WORKS One tap, never buried in a menu, and it still works after the match is over. The most valuable undo is the one that takes back a mis-tapped winning ball. RACK BY RACK Open any match and read the whole thing back: every ball, every foul, every safety, in the order it happened, with corrections shown rather than hidden. RULES THAT MATCH YOUR ROOM Whether the 8 on the break wins, how long the race is, what a third foul costs — these vary by venue and by region, and the app asks instead of assuming. Your answers are saved with that match, so changing a preference later never rewrites a game you already played. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Your matches never leave your phone. There is no account and no server for your scores. The only thing that ever touches a server is a purchase receipt, if you buy Insights. Export your full history to JSON or CSV any time, free and unlimited. BUILT FOR A POOL HALL High-contrast dark screen for dim rooms, large controls you can hit without looking, and the display stays awake while you are scoring. EightNine is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any pool league, federation, or rating system, and it does not calculate any official rating.
