Who's Playing? turns your majlis into game night. Open whos-playing.web.app in the browser on your TV or computer: that is the screen, with nothing to download. The app on one phone is the remote, passed around the room, so nobody needs a phone of their own, an account or a login. Four games in one app: • Trivia Showdown — two teams and a board of questions, with 66 categories that start from our own culture: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Morocco, religion, heritage and proverbs, and reach out to history, science, geography, sport, anime and gaming. Every category is free to play with six questions each; with a subscription, more than 3,900 questions, many with pictures and sounds. • Draw & Guess — draw on the phone and watch it appear live on the big screen. A free set of words from 6 categories; with a subscription, 746 words across 44 categories. • Spot the Faker — everyone knows the secret word… except one of you. Talk, suspect, then vote. • Explain THAT! — defend an absurd claim in front of the room, with photos you have never seen appearing behind you, chosen by your helper, a new one every 20 seconds. Then the room decides by a show of hands: who was convinced? A scoreboard that follows the whole evening, and a crowning ceremony at the end with playful awards. Original cartoon characters in a style all their own, or a selfie for anyone who prefers one. Everything in Arabic and English. No ads. Auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free week ends if you started with one.
