Known across regions as Callbreak, Lakadi (Lakdi), Gochu and Call Bridge - MINUS is that same game, kept exactly as it is played on the floor. MINUS is the trick-taking game from North Indian card tables, with two rules that set it apart from every other Callbreak. You choose the trump. In ordinary Callbreak, spades is always the cut suit. In MINUS, the trump is up for grabs: read your cards, win the auction, and name the cut suit yourself. Pass, and someone else carries the risk - and if nobody bids, spades stays the trump. Most tricks does not win - your bid does. Take at least as many tricks as you said you would and you score your bid. Fall short, even by one, and the whole bid comes off as a minus. Extra tricks earn nothing. The real skill is bidding right. THREE WAYS TO PLAY - Minus: four players, every seat for itself, thirteen tricks. - Jodi: Minus in partnerships. The player facing you is your partner, and the pair is scored on its combined bid. - Kaat Bol: the fast auction game, with baaji and a running hisaab between the two sides. PLAY WITH REAL PEOPLE - Random live tables: tap Random and be seated with whoever else is looking, inside thirty seconds. - Friends' rooms: invite by link, QR code, username or from your contacts. - Live voice chat at the table. - Three bot levels for when nobody is free. - The game keeps your seat: leave mid-hand and it is still there when you return. SEE WHO YOU ARE PLAYING - Every player's world rank and total score, beside their name at the table and in the lobby. - Tap any name to open their profile: rating, wins, streaks and recent games. - A world leaderboard, with medals for the top three that they wear at every table. - A blue tick for members. - A daily streak that grows with every day you play. HOW A HAND GOES The auction: five cards each, and you bid for the right to name the trump. Name your number: the rest of the deck comes out and everybody commits to how many of the thirteen tricks they will take. Hold real strength and you can take over the trump with a big enough bid. Thirteen tricks: follow suit if you can, and beat what is on the table if you can. Make your bid, or minus: first past the target takes the game. IN YOUR LANGUAGE Hindi, Hinglish and English, switchable at any time. MEMBERSHIP (OPTIONAL) The game is free to play. An optional membership removes ads, opens every theme and card back, and adds the blue tick and your social handles to your profile. NO BETTING. NO REAL MONEY PLAY. MINUS is a card game of skill, not a gambling app. There is no wagering, and scores are points in a card game and nothing else - they cannot be cashed out or exchanged for anything.
