Find a movie, together. Thrum is a Tinder-style app for deciding what to watch, as a couple, a family, with friends, or completely on your own. Everyone swipes through movies and shows on their own schedule, and the moment two or more of you like the same title, it's a match. No more scrolling three streaming apps together for twenty minutes just to rewatch something you've already seen five times. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a group and share your one-tap code — no account search, no contacts access. 2. Swipe right to like, left to pass, on your own devices, on your own time. 3. The moment everyone in the group likes the same title, Thrum tells you — no comparing notes required. 4. Go watch it on whichever service has it, then mark it watched together in Thrum and it's out of the deck for good. A group can be 2 to 12 people. Solo browsing works too, for anyone who just wants to build their own watchlist. FEATURES • Only what you can actually watch: pick your real streaming services and Thrum filters everything to just those. • Set the mood in one tap: quick-pick vibes for the night you're having (Family Night, Zone Out, Scare Fest, and more), or build your own filter by genre, decade, and origin. • Works solo, too. Swipe alone and build your own like, pass, and watched history. • Can't agree? "Decide Right Now" feature lets the app pick something at random from your existing matches. • Manage your matches. Add personal notes and reactions, then move titles to "watched together" and rate them. • Taste Compatibility: every match builds toward a shareable compatibility score, updated weekly as you keep swiping. • Free, no ads, no upsells: no premium tier and no in-app purchases. Everything is available to everyone. WHO MADE THIS Thrum is a passion project. I built it to solve a recurring problem in my own family: we could never seem to agree on what to watch together. Thrum solved that problem. It's completely free, with no ads and no premium tier. Feedback, bug reports, and ideas for new features are always welcome through the support link on this page. "What should we watch?" used to be the whole evening. Now it's a swipe. This application uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.
