Three or four hundred baskets of shrimp, weighed from midnight to dawn, each one written by hand in a notebook. Miss one basket and fifteen kilos are gone. One slip into the wrong column once cost my family more than 70 kg of shrimp. Count two baskets apart and both sides argue. Lose the notebook, lose every number. I built FarmBook: Shrimp Weigh Book so that stops happening. One tap for every basket on the scale. The app adds the kilos, takes off the tare, prices by size and deducts the deposit. When the weighing is done, farmer and buyer hold the same ticket. No internet needed. No ads. No account. BUILT AT A REAL WEIGHING SITE • I grew up in a shrimp-farming family in Ca Mau, Vietnam. We now weigh all our own harvests with this app • Five years of our family's books, over 75,500 baskets, now live in the app • Accurate to 0.01 kg: two decimals on the scale, two decimals in the book WEIGH: NO MISSED BASKETS, NO ADDING ERRORS • One tap records one basket. Odd weight? Type what the scale shows • Baskets sit in blocks of 5 columns like a paper book, each with its own total • Mistyped a weight? The app asks before saving • Two phones weighing together: see at once which basket differs • Track each seine haul; odd kilos are never lost • Work out the shrimp size while you weigh • Hand the phone to your crew with peace of mind • Read each basket aloud so your eyes stay on the scale (Pro) MONEY: CLEAR TO THE LAST UNIT • Basket tare: the book keeps the scale reading; the subtraction is printed on the ticket • Record shrimp count, price, deposit and every part payment. Money and debts never mix THE BOOK STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Weighing, pricing, debts and printing all work with no internet. Weights, amounts, buyer names and phone numbers never leave your phone. The app sends only a few anonymous usage signals, which you can turn off in Settings. Vietnamese, English, Thai. Dong, baht or dollar: only the symbol changes. FREE AND PRO The free version is a real trial at the scale: weighing, pricing, debts and every kind of ticket all work, with no ads. Free sheets are limited; the app shows how many are left, and no sheet is ever lost. Pro unlocks unlimited sheets, backup, the full debt book per buyer, statistics by crop and pond, and read-aloud: a yearly plan (auto-renewing, cancel any time in your Apple account settings) or a one-time purchase for life.
