Roost: QR Storage & Inventory
Karl Schmidt
Where did the holiday lights end up? Roost gives every storage box a number and a printable QR label. Point your camera at any box and instantly see what's inside — no more opening five bins to find one thing. STORAGE THAT FINDS ITSELF • Number your boxes and print QR labels on any AirPrint printer • Log what's in each box, with photos • Scan a label to open the box instantly — or just type the number • Record where each box lives: garage shelf B, attic left side, under the stairs ONE SEARCH FOR YOUR WHOLE HOUSE Type "tent" and find the camping box. Type "filter" and find your furnace filter size. Items, boxes, measurements, appliances, and house facts — all in one search. A BINDER FOR YOUR HOUSE • Measurements by room — window sizes, alcove widths, that wall you keep re-measuring • Appliances with model and serial numbers, warranty dates, photos of receipts, and support contacts • Insurance policies with portal links and phone numbers • House facts like filter sizes, paint colors, and the year the roof was replaced MAINTENANCE, REMEMBERED Furnace filter every 3 months. Smoke detector batteries every year. Set it once and Roost tracks what's overdue, what's due soon, and can alert you the morning something's due. YOURS, ACTUALLY • One-time purchase — no subscription, ever. No ongoing costs. We won't make you pay for QR codes. • No account to create, no servers to trust • Your data lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud • Only using part of Roost? Hide the pages you don't need Give everything a place. Roost remembers where.
