NovaUtility puts two precise everyday tools in one calm, dark interface: a full metronome and a decision ranker, both working completely offline. Tempo Pulse is a real metronome. Set any tempo from 40 to 240 BPM with the plus and minus buttons, or press Tap Tempo to find a beat by ear. Choose a time signature, pick a subdivision, accent the downbeat, select a click voice, and hit Start. A swinging pendulum and a lit beat strip keep you locked to the pulse, and you can save any configuration as a named preset to reload later. Choice Ladder helps you decide. Type in the options you are weighing — places to eat, trips, tasks, anything — and the app shows them two at a time, asking which one you prefer. Each tap feeds a pairwise comparison that quietly builds a full ranked list from first to last. Save the outcome or share it as plain text. Everything you keep lives in History, where saved tempos and rankings sit together, ready to reopen. Settings let you toggle the click sound and haptics and choose an accent color. No accounts, no sign-ups, no clutter — just two dependable instruments whenever you need them.
