CriterionDeck is a rational decision tool that uses mahjong tile groups as its visual language. Wan, Bamboo, Dots, and Honors map to four scoring dimensions—resources, time and energy, risk, and people and social factors. When you face multiple options and many competing considerations, weighted scoring turns complex trade-offs into comparable conclusions. (Tiles are grouping labels only—not gameplay or gambling.) - Multi-option comparison: Add 2-5 alternatives for a single decision—such as changing jobs, buying a home, choosing a school, or picking a city—and compare different paths side by side on one sheet. - Four-group scoring: Set criteria across Wan (resources), Bamboo (time and energy), Dots (risk), and Honors (people and social impact), then score each option item by item so you don’t focus on just one factor. - Weight adjustment: Assign different importance to each criterion so the overall result reflects your real priorities instead of a simple average. - Quick start with templates: Built-in templates for common decisions pre-fill the topic, options, and group criteria—you can edit freely and avoid building from scratch. - Rankings and structure insights: Automatically calculates overall scores and rankings, and highlights whether options are clearly separated or closely matched, helping you judge how solid the conclusion is. - What-if simulation: Before saving, tweak scores or weights to preview how rankings might change, reducing second-guessing after the fact. - Records and replay: Save drafts and completed decisions, add personal notes, and log what you actually chose and how satisfied you were—so you can compare against your original judgment. - Cross-decision comparison: Pick two past decisions and view results side by side to reflect on your habits and how your preferences evolve.
