Real World Completionist is a walking tracker for people who want to walk every street in a neighborhood — and have a map that shows how far they've gotten. You define an area by drawing it on the map (rectangle or polygon, whatever shape your neighborhood actually is). The app downloads the road network from OpenStreetMap, and from then on every walking session you record marks streets as "walked." Coverage shows as a percentage. Streets you've finished glow in your chosen colour. The goal is 100%. Then you draw a new area. It's deliberately not a fitness tracker. There are no leaderboards, no streaks, no calorie counts, no social feed. The point is the map state — turning blank roads into completed ones, the same way you'd clear fog of war in a strategy game. ▸ Four session modes • Planned Route — the app builds a route through unwalked streets, either to a target distance you set or as a full-coverage circuit. Turn-by-turn card plus optional voice prompts. • Freewalk — no route, just record. Streets light up as you cover them. • Target Mode — pick a point of interest (café, viewpoint, landmark) or long-press anywhere on the map, and the app routes you there. • Manual Entry — tap streets after the fact, for the days you forgot to start a session. ▸ Made for the long haul • Multiple areas, switch between them from the chip at top-left • Lifetime stats: total walks, GPS km, streets covered, longest walk, best single session, breakdown by mode • Achievements unlock as you cover more ground • Home-screen widget showing active-area coverage at a glance • Offline map tiles per area on first download — once set up, the app works fully without a network connection • Dark + light theme, configurable colours per layer ▸ Privacy • Your GPS data stays on your device. We don't operate a server that receives it. • No analytics. No advertising. No third-party tracking SDKs. • No account, no email, no sign-up. • Two third-party services are contacted, only at specific moments and only after explicit in-app disclosure: – OpenStreetMap (via Overpass) when you create or refresh an area – OpenFreeMap when you download offline tiles for an area • Full policy: https://realworldcompletionist-legal-cbeaac.gitlab.io/privacy/ Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors. Tiles by OpenFreeMap. Rendering by MapLibre.
