New rain radar & isobars ONE DIAL, THREE TIMESCALES Switch between 12-hour, 24-hour and 7-day views. Drag the hand through time to see temperature, wind and conditions. THE RADIAL WEATHER • Temperature: amber for heat, blue for cold, with dangerous UV flagged on the ring. • Rain and snow: a blue bloom swells from the centre; even light drizzle shows clearly. • Wind: fine spokes grow with the wind; gust dots distinguish breeze from blast. • Day and night: the rim fades light to dark with real sunrise and sunset. • Haptics: feel the wind rise and the tide turn, with a firm tick at midnight. RAIN RADAR Rain radar fits right inside the dial. Double-tap the centre to cycle through the available charts, then turn the hand back through two hours of observed rainfall to follow its movement around your location. Available where radar coverage exists; update frequency varies by region. SURFACE PRESSURE ISOBARS & FRONTS See the bigger picture inside the same dial: isobars, highs, lows and fronts over a coastline map centred on your location. Turn the hand to follow pressure systems up to five days ahead, with model-derived fronts for the first three days. LOCATIONS Save places and swipe between them. TE AO MĀORI & MARAMATAKA Turn on te reo Māori for iwi place names, days and conditions in te reo, and the maramataka: the Māori lunar calendar. See tonight's moon phase, the season's whetū, the lunar month (including Ruhanui in a Te Tau Toru Nui o Matariki year), and Tangaroa nights favoured for hunting and gathering. Focus maramataka on hunting, fishing or trapping interests. A STORY, NOT A SPREADSHEET Apple Intelligence writes a short, plain-language summary of your next 24 hours, including detail beyond the chart.
