AbleSet Connect is the native iOS and iPadOS app for AbleSet. Connect to AbleSet running on your computer over your local network and run the full AbleSet web interface in a clean, full-screen experience built for the stage. The app discovers AbleSet hosts on your Wi‑Fi using Bonjour and opens your session automatically. AbleSet runs edge-to-edge in a dedicated in-app browser. Your settings are remembered across different hosts on the same network, so switching between machines on your LAN does not reset your preferences. Links to other local hosts stay in the app; external links open in Safari when you need them. Your screen stays awake while you are using AbleSet, so the display does not dim mid-show. You can optionally hide your device's status bar when you want a cleaner stage view. AbleSet Connect also exposes native device capabilities to AbleSet: screen brightness control, battery level and charging state. Additionally, connect USB or Bluetooth MIDI controllers to your iPhone or iPad and forward performance data to AbleSet on your Mac over the network. Optionally bridge MIDI to Apple Network MIDI (RTP) for tighter integration with your Mac and other gear on the LAN. Requirements - AbleSet running on a Mac on the same local network (AbleNet enabled, or updated AbleSet with dedicated companion discovery) - iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later - Local network access (used to discover AbleSet and, when enabled, network MIDI)
