Terminalko - SSH Terminal
BEGRIP, s.r.o.
Terminalko is an SSH terminal for iPhone and iPad. Connect to your VPS, your Raspberry Pi, or any Linux box, run a real shell, and get work done without a laptop nearby. [ A real terminal on iOS ] Terminalko connects to modern SSH servers. Sessions run in a true xterm-256color PTY with ANSI colors, scrollback, and a keyboard-aware layout that adapts as you type. A real terminal, not a toy. [ Core features ] - Saved servers: Store hosts with name, address, user, port, and a custom icon. Secrets live in the iOS Keychain; metadata stays on your device. - Password or key auth: Use a password or an OpenSSH PEM private key with optional passphrase. - Jump hosts: Reach servers behind a bastion in one hop. - Command snippets: Save the commands you type daily and send them with a tap. - Connection Keeper: Auto-reconnect retries dropped sessions up to 5 times, with a visible overlay and a cancel option. Locked your phone? With tmux keep-alive your session survives and re-attaches. - Multiple sessions: Run several SSH sessions in parallel and switch with the session pill bar. [ Privacy ] Terminalko stores everything on-device. No analytics, no ads, no accounts, no telemetry. The app contacts only the servers you explicitly add. [ Security ] - App Lock: Gate the app behind Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, or your device passcode. - Lock screen masks content in the app switcher. - Secrets stay in the iOS Keychain, never exported, never synced without your input. - Generate Ed25519 or RSA keys on device. You get an OpenSSH private key plus a ready authorized_keys line. No more emailing keys around. [ Built for iOS and iPadOS ] - Native SwiftUI app, optimized layouts for iPhone and iPad. - Landscape iPad layout: sidebar with saved servers and Quick Connect. - Adjustable font size 8 to 28 pt; Dark, Auto, or Light theme; a Red terminal theme for fans of monochrome glow. - URL detection: tap links in terminal output to open in Safari. - Caps Lock as Control, Keep Screen On, full hardware keyboard support. [ Who it is for ] Developers, sysadmins, and homelab tinkerers. Check a server from the couch, SSH into a Raspberry Pi from your iPhone, restart a service on your VPS from the train. [ Requirements ] iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
