Pictal is an AI powered photo creation app designed for a clean workflow that combines visual generation and caption writing. You start with your own photo, describe what you want to change, generate a new photoreal result, then refine a short caption that matches the final image. The app focuses on practical creation rather than complex editing panels, so you can move from idea to shareable output quickly. The flow is simple. Choose a photo from your library or take a new one with the camera. Write a creative direction in your own words. Generate a portrait style result with a realistic camera look. After generation, Pictal can produce one short English caption suggestion based on what the generated image shows, up to 140 characters. You can edit the caption freely and then publish the result to your personal Record. Pictal is not limited to a single effect. The same photo to photo generation flow can be used for different goals depending on your description. You can ask for scene and background changes, such as moving to a beach boardwalk, a rooftop at blue hour, a misty forest, a snowy mountain overlook, or a night street with neon reflections. You can request lighting shifts and color grade changes, such as warm golden hour, soft studio light, or crisp daylight. You can adjust mood and atmosphere, including weather such as haze or rain, while staying realistic. You can also ask for styling guidance so the look fits the setting, including outfit changes and hair cleanup, as well as depth of field and background blur to make the subject stand out. If your input is empty or unusable, Pictal can auto pick a bold direction so the result still changes in a clear way. Record and export are built in. Published results appear in the Record tab and are stored locally on your device so you can open them again later. From the record detail page you can save the image to Photos, with iOS permission required, or delete a record when you no longer need it. Pictal offers AI generation through coins and an optional subscription. When you are not subscribed, generation consumes coins and the app shows a usage notice before you proceed. Coin packs can be purchased. Subscription purchases can be restored through Apple purchase restore. Settings includes a clear cache action for removing temporary files. You can also open Privacy Policy and User Agreement inside the app. Privacy matters. Pictal does not collect or store facial information. The app does not use your personal data for tracking. Photos you choose are used to generate results and captions, and generated records are stored locally on device for app functionality. Camera and photo permissions are requested only when needed.
