Expozia — Film Light Meter
Egor Mojarovschii
Expozia is the light meter I built for my own film photography — a precise, no-nonsense instrument for getting exposure right on film. It reads actual light through your phone's camera and gives you the settings you need. What's inside: Three metering modes — matrix, center-weighted, and spot. Zone size is adjustable for center-weighted and spot; matrix analyzes the whole frame. A live luminance histogram shows the scene's tonal distribution. A film logbook — frames organized by roll. Save each one with full settings (ISO, aperture, shutter, luminance histogram) — or as a clean frame. Film has no EXIF; here it does. So you learn how each stock behaves. A manual flash calculator — guide number with LiDAR distance, or set the distance by hand. ND compensation — meter through any ND filter, the math is handled for you. Customize the app to your film camera — calibration, metering zones, and the exact ISO, aperture, and shutter ranges your gear has. Pick the focal length for your lens. Expozia is built like a physical light meter: precise, durable, and yours. One-time purchase — no subscription, no ads, every feature included. Made by a film photographer, for film photographers.
