Noma - Multi-Currency Budget
Dmitry Khorev
Noma is a personal finance tracker built for people who don't want a bank login, a sign-up form, or an algorithm watching their money. Track expenses, savings, and budgets in any currency. Designed for digital nomads who deal with multiple currencies and don't trust ad-funded apps with their financial data. KEY FEATURES • Local-first storage — your budget lives on your device and works offline • Multi-currency — track and convert between any currencies, with offline-friendly exchange rates • Custom categories and budgets — organize spending the way you think about it • Savings goals — set targets, track progress • 5 themes — Light, Dark, Digital Nomad, 2077 Cyberpunk, Immigrant • Export and import — own your data, move it anywhere PRIVACY No sign-up, no email, no analytics, no ads, no trackers. Your transactions stay on your device unless you export them or sync two phones — and the synced copy is end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read it. Syncing creates an anonymous account (a random id, no name or email). You can delete it from the app's Sync screen, and an account that stops syncing is deleted automatically after about six months. Unless you sync, the only network requests Noma makes are a check for app updates and calls to public exchange rate APIs (Frankfurter, ExchangeRate-API) — they only ask for the day's rates against the US dollar; none of your currencies or data are sent. FOR WHO • Digital nomads juggling multiple currencies • Privacy-minded people who don't want a bank app or finance startup tracking them • Anyone wanting a simple, fast, local expense tracker that works offline WHAT'S DIFFERENT Most finance apps want your bank login, your email, your behavior patterns, and your eyeballs on ads. Noma wants none of that. It's a tool, not a service. You install it, you use it, you uninstall it. No sign-up, no subscription. Made by one developer. No team, no investors, no roadmap pressure. Just an app that does the thing.
