Three storage locations cover day-to-day life: fridge, freezer, pantry. BARCODE SCANNER Scan instead of type. Point your camera at the barcode — Fridoo identifies the product, fills in the name and category automatically and jumps straight to the expiry date prompt. Product data comes from the open OpenFoodFacts database. Only the barcode is sent, nothing about you. Already-scanned products are cached locally, so they work instantly even when offline. NOTIFICATIONS ON YOUR TERMS You decide when Fridoo reminds you. Pick any combination of intervals (14 days, 1 week, 3 days, 1 day before expiry) and set the hour of day the app notifies you. All reminders are scheduled locally on your device — nothing ever leaves your iPhone. WASTE AND CONSUMPTION TRACKING Mark items as consumed or wasted with a swipe. Fridoo calculates your consumption ratio so you can see at a glance how much of what you buy actually gets eaten — and where the waste is.
