Conduit is a native iOS client for Codex, the AI coding agent by OpenAI. It connects directly to the app-server running on your machine over WebSocket. No cloud relay, no middleman. Your prompts and code stay on your local network. Most apps try to do so much more than the app-server, Conduit keeps it simple, while adding Git & SSH on top, with no extra steps required on your end. Attach images from your camera or photo library. You control what the agent can do. Set approval policies, sandbox modes, writable directories, and network access. Approve or deny commands and file changes one at a time, or allow them for the session. Watch your agent work in real time. Inline diffs, tool calls, test output, file changes, plans, web searches, and sub-agent activity are all rendered in the conversation. GitHub PRs, reviews, and CI status are built in. SSH terminal profiles let you manage remote sessions from the app. Threads are grouped by repo and branch with offline caching. Switch models or reasoning effort per thread. Customize fonts, text sizes, tint colors, message density, and tool call display. Local notifications keep you posted when the app is in the background.
