Passeporté reads the NFC chip in your biometric passport or national eID card, verifies its authenticity, and stores the data securely on your device. WHY PASSEPORTÉ? • Keep a secure backup of your passport in case it's lost or stolen abroad — have your details ready for the embassy • Store your family's passports in one place before a trip — no shuffling documents at check-in • Check visa eligibility and entry requirements instantly — your passport number, nationality, and expiry are always at hand • Verify a passport is genuine and not tampered with — useful for landlords, notaries, or HR onboarding • Know exactly when documents expire — get alerts months ahead so you never miss a renewal before a trip • Fill out booking forms, visa applications, and hotel check-ins faster — no digging out the physical document every time • Keep a record of your old passports for visa history or proof of prior travel SCAN Point your camera at the passport data page to read the MRZ automatically, or enter details manually. For eID cards, enter the 6-digit CAN from the front of the card. READ VIA NFC Hold your device against the passport or eID card. Passeporté reads the chip using BAC (passports) or PACE (eID cards) and retrieves your photo, personal details, MRZ, and signature. VERIFY Passive Authentication verifies data integrity using the chip’s digital signature. Active Authentication confirms the chip is genuine and not cloned.
