Julie's German Reading Test
Sebastian Marquez von Hage
Do you want to finally feel confident reading German? Julie's German Reading Test helps you build real vocabulary — words and phrases — through complete texts, not random word lists. No ads. No subscriptions. Just focused learning. Created by an experienced language teacher, the app is designed for learners at levels A1 to B2 and trains you to understand German in context — the way the language is actually used in real life. You get access to 120 carefully adapted texts across four levels. That means variety, meaningful repetition, and steady progress without boredom. In Practice mode, you read texts matched to your level. Don’t understand a word or phrase? Tap it. You instantly see the translation, and it’s automatically saved to your personal flashcard deck. No copying. No extra steps. You build your own collection of useful words and phrases directly from what you read. Your saved vocabulary can be reviewed as flashcards, practiced with listening support, and reinforced using spaced repetition (2-3-5-7 method) — helping you remember what you learn long term. In Test mode, you answer timed questions based on the texts. To move up a level, you must pass the test three separate times. No guessing. No shortcuts. Just real mastery. Stop memorizing isolated words. Start understanding German.
