CREATE AND JOIN GUILDS Build your own communities, called Guilds. Each one has its own real-time IRC chat, members, and a custodian elected by the community. Public or private, the choice is yours. REAL-TIME IRC CHAT Every Guild includes a built-in IRC-style chat: fast, lightweight, and always active. Enjoy real conversations without the noise. WRITE AND SHARE Publish posts with a rich text editor. Add photos, create polls, and embed memes and GIFs. Express yourself your way. MAKE IT YOURS Choose from 7 built-in themes: Paper, Dark, Ocean, Forest, Nord, Dracula, and Sunset, or create your own custom theme from scratch with full color control. STAY NOTIFIED Receive push notifications for likes, comments, replies, follows, and Guild activity. Decide exactly which notifications you want in your settings. PRIVACY FIRST Your email is encrypted. No tracking. No ads. No algorithm deciding what you see. Your feed stays chronological and transparent. PREMIUM OPTIONS Support the platform with optional Premium subscriptions that unlock extra features and customization options. Payments are handled securely through Stripe. BUILT INDEPENDENTLY Surikata is built by a small independent team that believes social platforms should serve their users, not advertisers.
