NekoLock - Cat App Blocker
Daisuke Kajiwara
When you spend too much time on social media, a cat comes to visit. A gentle anti-smartphone addiction app that doesn't rely on willpower. Before you know it, you've spent an hour on social media and two hours watching videos. The cat will stop this cycle for you. This is a gentle app-limiting app where you cannot use your social media apps until you pet the cat to satisfy it. This is highly recommended for those who have failed with strict blocking apps in the past. ▼ Recommended for those who: - End up scrolling through social media or short videos endlessly without realizing it. - Frequently open irrelevant apps while studying or working. - Give up on strict restriction apps after just a few days. - Even if they set up the Screen Time feature, they end up overriding it themselves. ▼ Three mechanisms of NekoLock ■ A cat gently stops you When you try to open a set app, a cat appears on the screen. You can use the app after petting the cat or for a selected amount of time (5/10/15 minutes). Rather than a harsh block, it introduces a gentle pause to break your mindless scrolling. ■ Collect 10 types of cat friends Brown tabby, tuxedo, calico, orange tabby, black cat, Ragdoll, Scottish Fold, Munchkin, British Shorthair, and Russian Blue. A random cat friend will appear every time you lock an app. Black cats are rare. As you take care of them, their affection level increases, unlocking their personalities, favorite items, and the ability to name them. They will even celebrate your birthday. ■ Visualize your usage time Check at a glance how many minutes you spent on which apps today and how many times the cat stopped you. Instead of just health-related numbers, it visualizes your time as the moments you spent with your cats. ▼ Privacy considerations - Uses Apple's official Screen Time API (Screen Time / Family Controls). - Information about which apps you are using is processed on-device. No data is sent to a server. - No account registration required. ▼ Support Feedback & requests: in-app Settings Privacy Policy: http://lockapp.stryde.studio/nekolock/privacy/ Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Don't rely on willpower.
