Period trackers have been at the centre of multiple privacy scandals — most famously a 2021 FTC settlement where one major app was found sharing user data with Facebook. We built PERIOD. because we wanted something different. We're a small, Dutch, female-led team. Our founder Lisa uses the app every day. Every design decision starts with: would I want this?
