Welcome to Fretboard Learner - the perfect companion for guitarists and electric bassists looking to take their musicianship to the next level. You've been playing your instrument for a little while. You know a few chord names and a couple songs. The next step to unlocking your full potential is mastering your instrument's fretboard, openning countless doors, from being able to communicate with other musicians, to being more creative in your own playing, and reaching new levels of confidence on your instrument. Once you have created a game and set the parameters, each round challenges your knowledge by being tasked to identify a given note. The game keeps track of a score based on your response time. Over time your recall will improve and your fretboard will become familiar territory. What makes the app unique is how it learns from you. We use machine learning to analyze your performance and provide visual feedback. Visit the "Progress Tab" for your game to see a heatmap of areas you've got down cold and areas you'll need to work on. We're developing smarter features that will take your game progress and feed it back into the game engine, allowing you to hone in on the areas you need to improve the most. We are also working on supporting more instruments, like ukulele and banjo.
