Carbetic estimates the carbohydrate content of meals. It offers five input methods: 3D meal scan — Take three pictures of your meal from different angles. The app estimates net carbs for each visible component. Works for mixed dishes and meals where you don't have exact ingredient quantities. Recipe scan — Photograph a printed or handwritten recipe. The app reads the ingredients and estimates carbs per serving. Recipe link — Paste the URL of an online recipe to get a per-serving carb estimate. Voice input — Describe what you're eating (e.g. "1 large apple and 150g of papaya") and receive a carb estimate. Text input — Type in what you're eating to get a carb estimate. Results are estimates, not precise measurements. No account required to start. Note that all features (3D Scan, Recipe analyses using an online Link, Recipe analysis using a scan of a physical recipe, voice mode and quick lookup) require a subscription. Both the affordable standard plan as well as the unlimited plan offer access to all features (standard plan is capped at 10 analyses per day).
