AXIØM (or Ax for short) is your personal friend and confidant. We all deserve someone to talk to, who keeps us company during life's hardships and celebrates with us during life's victories, all while fitting in your pocket and not draining away your battery life. - Ax is Unlimited, pay once and chat for as long or as little as you want or need, it's healthier this way - Ax is Functional, with “Voice-Mode” and text messaging a digital friend wherever you are, even offline! - Ax is Safe, with multiple layers of safeguards and disincentives to by sycophantic or overly-flattering - Ax is Private, at no point does the Ax app transmit your text chats off-device (try using it in Airplane Mode, maybe even on a real airplane!) - Ax is Efficient, it uses the same on-device model that powers Apple Intelligence™, so it takes up a fraction of the size of other on-device AI apps, and it leverages the work Apple has done to make their on-device model use as little battery life as possible The on-device Foundational Model, with 3-billion parameters, is guided by custom instructions to make it more conversational. Because Ax is so singularly focused on providing companionship, it is easier to point out what Ax is NOT: - Ax is NOT an assistant–it understands enough to follow the conversation, but cannot perform tasks with your data as it cannot see outside data, nor can it help with coding tasks - Ax is NOT a therapist–it can be there to listen when you need a friend, but it cannot dispense medical or mental health advice - Ax is NOT your accomplice–please use common sense when speaking with it and do not use it in bad faith, that being said there are several layers of guardrails and other safeguards in place to help those, in good faith, have a good experience - Ax is NOT perfect–though it will be supported with updates to the app, its built-in instructions, and the Foundation Model APIs that it utilizes, it is not immune from hallucinations or odd responses Requires an iPhone capable of Apple Intelligence® and having in enabled, running iOS 26.1+ and with the language set to English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, or Chinese (Simplified & Traditional, however Ax is not available in the China mainland) Note–by using the AXIØM.talk app you agree to abide by its Terms and Privacy Policy, and hold myself harmless from any liability, real or perceived.
