Vread: Reading Challenge
TANGUY WARSMANN
A video rewards you in one second. A book, sometimes after a hundred pages. Vread closes the gap: every 30 to 40 pages, one question about what you just read. One word is enough. Get it right, your pages are validated and your progress moves forward. WHY When our lives became sedentary, we started running. Now it's our attention that has gone sedentary. The workout already exists: reading. It was missing what made sport visible and motivating: milestones, a record, a streak, people to move forward with. HOW IT WORKS • Read your own book: print, e-reader or audio • Every 30 to 40 pages, a checkpoint asks one question about the passage • A one-word answer validates your pages • Over 15,000 books available, in English and French WHAT YOU GET • Reading that moves forward before your eyes, step by step • A streak that gives you a reason to open your book today • Stats that count pages read, not pages claimed • Weekly leagues and a Duo mode to read with others • XP, levels and badges: every finished book leaves a mark • Booky, the Vread fox, who cheers your wins and nudges you when you drift Sport became visible, social and desirable once people could track it. Vread does the same for reading, which is why it is nicknamed the Strava of reading. Vread is an independent app and is not affiliated with Strava. Over 22,000 readers have already validated more than 10 million pages. Vread is free. The optional Premium subscription lets you, among other things, request books to be added to the catalogue. If it's not on Vread, did you really read it? Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://www.vread.fr/legal/privacy
