Eyemo is a comprehensive neuro-ophthalmology learning application, featuring more than 75 precision-crafted animations and over 200 animated quiz questions covering 50 afferent and efferent disorders; it is designed to strengthen diagnostic reasoning. Created by a Consultant Neurologist subspecialising in neuro-ophthalmology and neuro-otology, and peer-reviewed by international experts, Eyemo explains complex eye movement disorders clearly. It helps learners recognise each sign accurately and understand the underlying mechanism. LEARN THROUGH THREE FOCUSED MODES • Teaching Mode: slowed, fullscreen, blink-free animations, suitable for group teaching. • Identify Mode: continuous, randomised playback for training rapid pattern recognition. • Quiz Mode: challenging single best answer questions that test higher order diagnostic reasoning, alongside detailed explanations. WHAT IS INCLUDED • More than 75 clinically accurate, vector based animations. • More than 200 quiz questions with detailed, referenced explanations. • 50 conditions spanning cranial nerve palsies and variants (third, fourth and sixth nerve), the internuclear ophthalmoplegia spectrum (including INO plus), nystagmus, saccadic dyskinesias, vertical gaze palsies, myokymia, light near dissociation and anisocoria. • Content based on Leigh and Zee, Liu, Volpe and Galetta, Brazis, Walsh and Hoyt, and the NOVEL library. VALIDATED BY LEARNERS In pre launch testing with medical students, residents, fellows and neuro-ophthalmologists, Eyemo received the following ratings: • 5.0 out of 5 for accurately depicting eye movement abnormalities. • 4.9 out of 5 for likelihood of recommendation to novice learners. • 4.8 out of 5 for simplifying difficult neuro-ophthalmic concepts. These findings were presented at the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS) Annual Meeting in Arizona, 2025.
