Born in Alençon, France, in 1772 and a great scholar, she created this Tarot from a traditional 54-card deck, drawing inspiration from Greek and Roman mythology, alchemy, and astrology. It is also structured around the symbolism of flowers, planetary constellations, the symbolism of letters, major historical figures, and universal scenarios. The most famous consultants of Mademoiselle Lenormand include Marie-Antoinette, Marat, Robespierre, Charlotte Corday, and Napoleon.
