Wing Tsun is one of the most effective defense systems in the world and can be learned by anyone without having to be an acrobat. The techniques are energy efficient and use only the bare minimum to achieve the greatest possible benefit. There are various hand and arm techniques for a wide range of applications. A lot of emphasis is placed on tactile recognition of intentions and energies [these are real energy directions from physics] in order to process them accordingly. This means that one does not rely on visual impressions, but rather on touches. The body recognizes these better than via the visual channel anyway.
