TapMyNotes — Every moment has a story. Most notes only capture what you thought. TapMyNotes captures when and where too — with one tap, it automatically saves the timestamp (When) and GPS coordinates (Where) — precise and unchangeable. Then add your own words (What) to capture what happened, how you felt, or what mattered in that moment. Your words are the key to your memories. Don't leave a tap blank. With this app, you can build a searchable timeline and spatial history of your life — travels, work, health, ideas, and everyday moments, at every exact place. Organize your way — in two simple layers: * Tap Entities — broad categories (e.g., My Travel, My Health, My Work) * Tap Items — specific interests within each (e.g., Hikes, Symptoms, Projects) Set up your structure once. Then tap to record — instantly. Every tap captures three essential elements : * When — precise timestamp with time zone (view in local time, even when travelling) * Where — GPS coordinates, altitude (additional address, and distance & altitude changes) * What — your text note (editable anytime so you can complete your thoughts later) Find and explore your past like never before: * Search by text or date (location search coming soon) * Compare a past tap with your current time, distance, and altitude * View a sequence of taps to see timeline and location progression * Visualize your journey on an interactive map Auto-caching — your passive memory log. Even when you don't manually tap, the app automatically caches location records when you open the tap view or map (minimum 5 minutes and 50 metres depart, adjustable). Review them later in a list or on a map. No action required — just open the app and let it work quietly in the background. All cached taps are saved in a separate database with a configurable limit — never mixed with your user tap data. Privacy first. All data stays on your device. We never see your notes, location history, or coordinates. You own your data, just like you own your device — completely. Advanced: global coordinate support. TapMyNotes automatically handles the GCJ-02 coordinate offset used in mainland China. Your map pins appear exactly where they should — no manual conversion needed. A first for a personal notes app. Your entire history in one place. All tap records are saved within the app. Storage is remarkably efficient — for example, one user's nearly 30,000 records over near a decade take up only about 8 MB. TapMyNotes can hold a lifetime of essential moments — all on your device. A tool for life, not clutter. TapMyNotes is designed for the big picture — the essential moments, locations, and your own keywords that anchor your memories. For photos, videos, or lengthy journaling, use other tools. Just add matching keywords in those external notes so TapMyNotes becomes your personal index — the backbone of your life's timeline. You'll find that when you need to quickly locate a memory from a sea of data, TapMyNotes may be your most powerful tool. Get started in seconds. Keep refining forever. Your first tap entities and items are pre-loaded as templates to help you get familiar with the app's features. We strongly recommend customising them to better fit your interests over time. Detailed in-app help is always available. Download TapMyNotes and start capturing your life — one tap, one moment at a time. Remember, time and location are set at the moment of recording — they cannot be changed or recreated. Start now, and capture the beautiful moments of your life.
