Kopana

Kopana is South Africa's long-haul travel and parcel marketplace. Whether you're heading between cities or sending a package across the country, Kopana connects you with verified drivers already making the trip. Be there "now-now".

FOR PASSENGERS
Find a seat on trips between South Africa's major cities and towns. Search your route, compare drivers, and book in a few taps.
• Real trips between Joburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Gqeberha, East London and more
• Choose your ride: Lite for the best price, or Premium for extra comfort
• See the driver, the vehicle and the price upfront, before you book
• Add a special request, like an extra stop along the way

FOR DRIVERS
Already making the trip? Fill your empty seats and cover your fuel and tolls.
• Post your route and let passengers come to you
• Keep 80% of every fare
• Carry parcels alongside passengers for extra earnings
• Every driver is ID-verified with a licensed vehicle

SEND PARCELS
Need to get something across the country? Send it with someone already going.
• Match your parcel with a driver on the right route
• A photo is taken at hand-over and again at drop-off, so everyone has proof
• Track your parcel's journey from pickup to delivery

SAFETY BUILT IN
Your safety comes first, on every trip.
• All drivers are ID-verified and drive licensed vehicles
• Share your live trip location with trusted contacts
• In-app SOS alerts your emergency contacts
• Your fare is held securely by Kopana and released to the driver only once you confirm you've arrived safely

HOW PAYMENT WORKS
No cash needed. Your fare is held safely when you book and released only after you confirm your safe arrival, or your recipient confirms their parcel. Fair for passengers, fair for drivers.
