"Bears and people" is an application of the Slovak State Nature Conservancy, which provides the public with up-to-date information on the occurrence of brown bears in Slovakia. The main goal of the application is to educate users about the life of this beast, safe behavior in nature and ways to prevent encounters with bears. After registration and completion of the educational module, users can report encounters with a bear through the application, as well as record signs of its presence in the field for the needs of ŠOP SR. The application also allows you to directly contact the Brown Bear Response Team. In addition, registered users can receive automatic notifications about the recent appearance of a bear in the vicinity of their residence.
