The Swedish Core Bible is an expanded translation. Where necessary, several Swedish words are used to try to convey the words of the basic text and explain biblical concepts. The translation uses a system of brackets and square brackets. It can be said that the contents of the brackets and square brackets are notes that are embedded in the text and formulated so that they can be read together with the biblical text.
