【What is the Kumadasu App?】
The Kumadasu app is the official Akita Prefecture app that allows you to check real-time information on the appearance of wild animals such as Asiatic black bears and wild boars in Akita Prefecture on a map. It supports residents of Akita Prefecture, those returning home, those enjoying travel and outdoor activities, and parents worried about their children's commutes to school, with GPS-based location-based sighting alerts and a pairing function to monitor family safety.
【Main Features】
◆ Real-time Sighting Map
Wild animal sightings and traces can be viewed using icons on the map.
◆ GPS-linked Push Notifications
If there is information about wild animal sightings near your current location, you will be notified immediately via push notification. Notifications can be turned ON/OFF with a single touch, and notification conditions can be customized.
* Notification Range (Distance from sighting location to current location): 500m radius / 1km / 3km radius
* Notification Time (Time elapsed since sighting): Within 30 minutes / 1 hour / 3 hours
* Selection of target animal species and setting of presence or absence of traces (feces, footprints, etc.)
* Setting of notification suspension period (You can set times when you will not receive notifications, such as at night)
◆ Pairing Function (Monitoring Function)
By registering and linking parent and child devices, when there is sighting information near the child device's current location, a push notification will be sent to the parent device simultaneously. Ideal for monitoring family members who are far away.
◆ Government Warning Notification Function
Warnings from municipalities and prefectures will be sent via push notifications.
◆ English Support
In addition to Japanese, some functions (push notifications and pairing) are also supported in English.
