DZdN Player
Dział Zbiorów dla Niewidomych GBPiZS
The app allows convenient access to audio resources collected on the online service of the Department of the Blind at the Main Library of Labor and Social Security - wypozycz.dzdn.pl - and is intended only for authorized readers of our Library.
In the app, you can:
- search the catalog by title/author/series and genres
- browse new releases and select books from there
- browse your "shelf" and your bookmarks from the website
- stream books to your device or download them for later offline listening
- and, of course, listen to books.
The shelf contains the same functionality as an online player on a website. If you open something in one place and start listening, and then want to continue listening in another, you can do so. The playback progress will be saved and loaded.
Because this is our app, we are not limited by the Daisy Online protocol. The application also allows you to listen to movie soundtracks with audio description, synthetic MP3s, and unencrypted reading items.
