KUBO – e-books for children under 16
Children don’t become readers by telling them that reading is important. They become readers when they find books that they enjoy enough to want to keep reading.
The KUBO app features real children’s books that you’d find in a bookstore, and it’s designed to make reading time as engaging as scrolling through social media.
10 minutes of free reading a day
KUBO supports children’s education, and that starts with reading. That’s why we offer 10 minutes of free reading a day. Whether they read alone or with their parents, 10 minutes is enough to develop basic reading habits, develop vocabulary, learn to understand texts, and pave the way for further knowledge.
KUBO includes:
children's books in text and audio versions
fiction from domestic and international authors
encyclopedias and picture books
didactic titles that teach children new skills
poems and rhymes to practice language
literature for older schoolchildren and teenagers
It also offers:
new publications every week
recommended literature according to the child's age and interests
"Read to me" function
option to switch books to a special font designed for dyslexics
work assignments for developing reading comprehension
The first book application suitable for children with dyslexia
The application offers the option to switch books to Dysfont - a font specially developed to make it easier for children with dyslexia to recognize problematic letters. Thanks to this, the text does not tire them so quickly, they make fewer mistakes and gain more confidence.
Examples of books you can find in KUBO:
Margery Williams Bianco: Rabbit Sameťáček
Beatrix Potter: One Day of Rabbit Petra
Tom McLaughlin: William of the Fairy Land. The Day the Unicorns Stopped Farting!
Ester Stará: Who Will the Wolf Eat
