Local radio online: Now you can listen to your local radio wherever you are, regardless of geographical distance. Choose from a long list of local radios from all over Norway.
The app is a simple browser. When you listen to radio or podcasts, you are in principle visiting the radio channel's own official web address (and are counted and registered as a listener) in the same way as when you use a regular browser on your computer or an online radio, and with the same sound quality.
NB: This app is designed without unnecessary features on purpose, to be as small and efficient as possible (only about 5MB!). I hope this is taken into account when commenting. Thank you very much.
Permissions: The app's permissions are usually set automatically for older Android versions. For newer Android devices, the app will ask for permission to show a status notification while the radio is playing, to avoid the radio stopping when the phone goes to sleep. You can also enable permissions yourself by going to the App settings on your device (settings > apps > Norsk Radio App > Permissions).
This app is a product of its own interest in radio and has no commercial affiliation. All advertising you hear comes from the radio channel you are playing (You are connected directly to the radio channel, without any intermediaries).
