Norgesfilm
Filmoteket is the libraries' own film streaming service. It makes it easy for you to borrow and watch films digitally with your library card without having to visit the library. It costs you nothing since this is part of the library's ordinary lending services, just like books, audiobooks, etc. The film service is provided by Norgesfilm AS in close collaboration with the libraries.
The film service is available anytime and anywhere. You can choose from Norwegian, Nordic, European and international titles that appeal to children, young people, families, adults and seniors. The range is from classics, filmed books, big Oscar winners and so-called blockbusters ('big sellers') to narrower films in the arthouse/independent category. The films are selected by Filmoteket's editorial team and in collaboration with the libraries. You will find over 2,600 films and series to choose from, and the catalogue grows every week with lots of new and exciting quality content.
