SauSank
Markus Haave Lund
SauSank – monitoring and collection for those of you who have your sheep on Telespor radio bells. The app retrieves the positions from your bells and gives you what the grazing season actually requires: predator observations on the map, neat alerts, real-time search teams, shared collection list and maps that work without coverage.
PREDATORS ON THE MAP
See observations of wolverines, lynxes, bears, wolves and other predators from public sources right on the map – filtered to what is relevant near your grazing area. You see what has been reported around the flock, where and when.
MONITORING THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE GRAZING SEASON
Notifications about no movement, lost contact and low battery – sorted by severity and with read/unread, so you can see at a glance which animals need an extra look. See movement history and play the track for each individual animal.
SHARE POSITION IN REAL TIME – ENTIRE SEARCH TEAM ON THE MAP
While collecting, the entire search team sees each other’s position on the map, updated in real time – each with a name and color. Colored tracks show which areas the team has already covered, so you coordinate the search without calling back and forth. Invite family and sheep hunters to the search team with a link – without sharing your Telespor password. The entire team is included in the price.
SHARED COLLECTION LIST
Mark a sheep as collected, and the entire team will see it at once. A counter shows how many are left, collected animals can be muted on the map, and their notifications will stop bothering you. Works without coverage and will decrease when you get network.
WORKS WITHOUT MOBILE COVERAGE
Download map areas in advance and use them without network access. The sheep’s last known GPS positions are stored on the phone and displayed on the map anyway, and the bearing shows the direction and distance to the sheep – even far from the nearest base station.
MORE IN THE FIELD
• Log comments and observations directly on the sheep in question
• Leave messages and marks on the map for the rest of the team
• Battery status and last contact for each bell
• One unified search for sheep, people and predators
• Tips and tricks that show you features you may not know
TRY FREE FOR 7 DAYS
New users get full access for 7 days without providing a payment card. After that, SauSank Pro is an annual subscription that automatically renews until canceled, and can be canceled at any time in Google Play. The entire search team is included in the price.
SauSank requires radio bells and an active subscription with Telespor to show sheep. If you just want to see each other and share notes in a search team, you can start the team for free - completely without Telespor. SauSank is an independent app and is not developed by or affiliated with Telespor.
