With the Psychiatric Examination app you can carry out the mental status examination in a short time and generate a fully written report. The app challenges you to describe the patient sitting in front of you in a playful way, more specifically and with a larger vocabulary.

Psychiatric Research is now available for free! We've recently made an overhaul, making some of the content, including the glossary, accessible to everyone.

The functionality for creating a psychiatric examination in report form (including compiling your own templates) is available via a subscription.


What does the app offer?

Status mental examination: Perform a status mental examination in a short time. Choose the complete examination, the one for medical training or an emergency situation.

Transcribed report: Generate a fully transcribed report. Complete it yourself where necessary, or share it directly with other digital environments for file management or educational purposes.

Own templates: Create your own template for psychiatric reports. Choose which information you want to include.

Glossary: ​​Easily look up specific functions and concepts.

The app is based on the Psychiatric Research Manual (Hengeveld, Oosterbaan & Tijdink, 2023). Ideal for interns, psychiatry residents and psychiatrists!
