Activist Watcher is a mobile application for tracking and monitoring the activities of large investors. It automatically retrieves large shareholding report data from the Financial Services Agency's EDINET (Electronic Disclosure System for Securities Reports and Other Disclosure Documents) and provides real-time notifications of changes in large investors' stock holdings. You can also view TOB-related documents such as tender offer statements and disclosure documents such as securities reports.

[Main Features]

■ Automatic Retrieval and Display of Large Shareholding Reports
There's no need to manually check EDINET. The latest large shareholding reports, amendment reports, and corrected reports are automatically retrieved, and detailed information such as ownership percentage, purpose of holding, and reasons for filing amendment reports can be immediately viewed within the app. Sorting by submission date and reporting obligation date is supported, and the latest information can be easily accessed via links to corrected reports. Reports submitted significantly later than the reporting obligation date are marked with a delay mark, and the number of days considered a delay can be changed in the settings.

■ Push Notifications
You can quickly grasp the activities of large investors via push notifications. You can choose between two notification styles: "Real-time notifications" that deliver breaking news immediately, and "Evening summary notifications" that deliver a day's worth of information at once. You can also narrow your notifications to "Important Reports" to receive only activist and acquisition-related reports.

■ Holder/Issuer Profiles
You can view information on holders and stocks of interest, along with related reports. The holder details screen allows you to view a list of shareholders and tender offer-related documents. The issuer details screen allows you to view a list of holders, as well as disclosure documents such as securities reports and TOB-related documents.

■ Ranking Function
Based on the number of large shareholding reports, the system automatically calculates and displays rankings of stocks and holders with active activist activity. You can discover noteworthy stocks in rankings for the past week, month, and three months.

■ Automatic Classification of Holding Purposes
The purpose of holding large shareholding reports is automatically classified into categories such as "Important Proposal Activities" and "TOB, etc.," and displayed with badges. You can quickly identify important reports related to activists.

■ Report Sharing
You can share reports of interest via social media and messaging apps.

■ Watch Function
You can register stocks (issuers) and major investors (holders) of interest to your watchlist. You can quickly check the latest status of registered items on the watchlist screen, and reports on your watchlist will be prominently displayed on the home screen and ranking screen. There is a limit to the number of registrations in the free plan.

■ Search Function
You can search for reports by stock name, security code, and holder name. Search history is automatically saved, allowing you to quickly access items you want to review repeatedly.

■ Viewing Disclosure Documents
From the issuer details screen, you can view not only securities reports, semi-annual reports, and extraordinary reports, but also TOB-related documents such as tender offer statements and opinion statements. TOB-related documents can be viewed from the holder details screen. The free plan allows you to view the most recent PDF.

■ Display of Holding Percentages
You can check the holding percentage of each holder in the holder list. You can grasp the investor's position at a glance.

[Premium Features]

The Premium plan offers several advantages, including visualization of changes in ownership ratios, display of the average acquisition cost (reference value) for holders, highlighting of changes in holding purposes, unlimited watchlist registration, customizable notifications, and access to past disclosure documents.

■ Ownership Ratio Trend Graph
This graph visualizes the changes in ownership ratios for specific holder and issuer pairs. It allows you to track changes in large investors' investment stances over time.

■ Display of Average Acquisition Cost (Reference Value)
Based on the acquisition funds and number of shares held as stated in the large shareholding report, the reference average acquisition cost at the time of reporting is calculated and displayed. This provides an indication of the level at which large investors acquired shares.

■ Highlighting of Changes in Holding Purpose
You can see how the holding purpose in the change report has changed since the previous report, with added and deleted sections highlighted. You can switch between "Difference View" and "Normal View" in the full text view. Reports where the holding purpose has changed since the previous report will display a "Changed Since Previous Report" badge, which is also available in the free plan.


■ Unlimited Watchlist Registrations
The Premium plan allows you to register an unlimited number of items on your watchlist, including any stocks or investors you're interested in.

■ Full Ranking Display
The Free plan displays the top 5 rankings; the Premium plan displays the top 100.

■ Customizable Notifications
You can finely control notifications to receive only the information you need. You can narrow notifications to your watchlist or select notifications only for changes you're interested in, such as increases or decreases in ownership percentages.

■ Access to Past Disclosure Documents
You can also view past documents such as securities reports, semi-annual reports, extraordinary reports, and TOB-related documents in PDF format. The Free plan allows you to view the most recent document.
