Taquillita is the QR ticket app for events you put on yourself. School fundraisers, workshops, raffles, parties, tournaments, local shows, circuses — anything.
Built for events that sell through WhatsApp and get paid in cash or transfer. Taquillita generates unique QR-coded tickets from your phone and validates them at the door. No middlemen, no fees, no strings.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Sell. Tap the green button. The app generates a unique code, puts it on a QR, and opens WhatsApp so you can send it to your customer.
2. Validate. At the door, point your camera at the customer's QR. Green screen "ENTER" if it's good, red "ALREADY USED" if someone came in with that ticket, yellow "NOT FROM HERE" if it's from another event.
3. Reports. How many you sold today, how many came in, how many didn't show. By day, by week, or any date range.
WHAT TAQUILLITA DOESN'T DO (ON PURPOSE)
- No payment processing. You collect money your way (cash, transfer, whatever you use). Taquillita only generates and validates the ticket.
- No account, no email. Open it and use it.
- By default, everything stays on your phone. If you want, you can turn on optional cloud backup — anonymous, no account, no name. The app works fully without it.
- No fees. Doesn't charge anything, in fact.
- No internet needed. Works at the ranch, under the tent, wherever.
- No ads. None. Ever.
WHO IT'S FOR
- Events sold through WhatsApp: school fundraisers, team raffles, workshops with limited spots, weddings with a guest list, club tournaments, office parties.
- Neighborhood and trade events: small-town shows (palenque), independent wrestling, local dances, niche conventions, parish festivals.
- A soft spot for circuses: this app was born thinking of the circuses that roll into town and sell tickets through WhatsApp. If you're part of that world, it's yours.
PRIVACY
Taquillita doesn't collect personal data. Everything you generate (tickets, events, validation logs) stays on your phone. No accounts, no analytics, no ads.
If you turn on the optional cloud backup, a package is uploaded under an anonymous code — no name, no email, no phone. You can turn it off anytime.
