The Libyan Wasl platform was developed by the Libyan Zakat Fund, a non-profit governmental and religious institution specializing in collecting and distributing Zakat and Sadaqah to eligible recipients. This integrated digital platform represents a strategic step within the Libyan Zakat Fund's initiative to enhance the digitalization of Zakat and Sadaqah management. It aims to provide a modern and secure system that facilitates collection, distribution, classification, and monitoring processes with a high degree of transparency, while adhering to relevant Sharia and technical standards.

The platform was developed to serve various categories (Zakat payers, Sadaqah donors, and Zakat recipients) through mobile applications compatible with iOS and Android systems, in addition to an advanced and responsive web platform. The platform also supports accurate and real-time reports on fund movement, enabling management to make data-driven decisions, while complying with security, data protection, and privacy requirements. Furthermore, it offers electronic payment methods, support services, application status tracking, and diverse donation options, all of which enhance service efficiency and speed of completion.
