Шежіре — Shejire: рулар, жүз

Shejire is an application for creating, storing and studying Kazakh genealogies. Draw your family tree, keep your ancestors, clan and zhuz, and Seven Ancestors in one place.

Start with “me”: add yourself, your parents, grandparents — your first family tree will appear in a minute. Then, deepen your roots.

KEY FEATURES

• Family tree (родословное древо). Your ancestors are at the top, your descendants are below. Zoom in/out, click on a person to open the full card.

• Seven Ancestors. Find out your seven paternal ancestors. The “N/7” counter shows how many generations you know and invites you to fill in the missing ones.

• Clan catalog — deep and extensive. Great Zhuz, Middle Zhuz, Little Zhuz, Tore, Khozha → clan → inner clan → ancestor hierarchy. Small clans are also included. Search, clan description, "this is my clan" sign.

• Add your clan. If your clan or sub-clan is not in the database — add it yourself. You will not be stuck saying "I don't have a clan." Clans and zhuz are automatically inherited for generations.

• Search. Find relatives by name and clan.

• Photos and memories. Add a photo, profession, life story for each person.

• Backup. Save your entire genealogy in one file and give it to your clan or restore it.

• Kazakh + Russian. Full Kazakh alphabet (ә Қ н ө у Ү Ү и), large and easy-to-read font.

WHY SHEJIRE?

• Your data is on your device. Your genealogy records are stored only on your phone, not sent to the server, no registration required.
