About Omagari Hanabi

Omagari Hanabi traces its roots back to 1910, when the Ou Rokken Enka
Kyoshinkai was held, and carries more than a century of history. Leading
hanabi artists chosen from across Japan gather here, and the festival is
highly regarded as a competition of artistry and technique, with works of
their own invention coloring the night sky. Powerful fireworks seen from the
spectator seats, and displays choreographed to music, make it one of Japan's
most celebrated fireworks festivals.
